The cambelt/timing chain ensures valves are opening and closing at the precise intervals needed for the engine to get the right mixture of fuel and air. Your cambelt/taiming chain will become damaged or worn over time and all manufacturers strongly recommend the belt is changed within a certain mileage.

This includes the wet belt kit, oil filter, Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 P, and the time required to completely clean the oil sump pan, oil pump strainers, and turbocharger pickup strainer to ensure no debris is left behind that could potentially cause blockages and oil starvation.

This includes the wet belt kit, oil filter, Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 E, and the time required to thoroughly clean the oil sump pan, oil pump strainers, and turbocharger pickup strainer to ensure no residual debris remains that could lead to blockages or oil starvation.

2.0L EcoBlue

This includes the wet belt kit, oil filter, Castrol Magnatec 0W-30D , and the time required to thoroughly clean the oil pump strainers, and turbocharger pickup strainer to ensure no debris is left behind that could cause blockages or oil starvation. A new sump pan is also included, as the original aluminium pan can bend easily, is not designed to be removed regularly, and may not seal correctly once refitted.
